SA Hospitality Group, inspired by Italian tradition and led by Gherardo Guarducci and Dimitri Pauli, has been serving modern New York City since 2003. With three brands—Sant Ambroeus, Casa Lever, Felice—and 24 locations across Manhattan, Southampton, East Hampton, Aspen, Milan, and Palm Beach, we are expanding our team.

Position Purpose: Responsible for food preparation and plating dishes according to menu specifications and chef’s instructions.

*This position is for the upcoming Sant Ambroeus restaurant opening in December 2024!

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients by weighing, measuring, and mixing as per recipes or judgment.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained in preparation and serving areas.
• Cook and season food appropriately, ensuring even cooking and proper flavoring.
• Test foods for doneness using tasting, smelling, or piercing methods.
• Plate, garnish, and serve food to staff or guests.
• Assist other cooks during busy periods or emergencies.
• Cook meats, fish, vegetables using baking, roasting, broiling, or steaming techniques.
• Prepare fruits and vegetables for cooking or serving.
• Estimate food needs and requisition supplies accordingly.
• Carve and trim meats for service or sandwiches.
• Bake breads, pastries, and desserts as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to opening and closing procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a team, maintaining personal cleanliness and uniform standards.
• Possess basic food handling, preparation, and cleaning skills.
• Manage time effectively and work efficiently under pressure.
• Communicate clearly in English with team members and guests.
• Read and understand instructions and safety guidelines.
• Lift up to 30 lbs as required.
