Job summary

Eldora Mountain Resort in Colorado's Front Range seeks a Back of House Lead to oversee kitchen operations at a fast-paced outlet. You will mentor line staff, uphold food quality, safety, and cleanliness, and work closely with the BOH Manager.

Ideal candidates have a two-year culinary program or at least three years in quality kitchens, strong leadership, and a hands-on approach. This seasonal role offers competitive pay and housing options.

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Serve Safe Certified.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency with proper culinary tools.
• Maintains temperature logs and inventory processes.
• Leads a single Eldora food & beverage outlet.
• Follows prep sheets with urgency and accuracy.
• Prepares food per BOH Manager specifications.
• Reads and follows recipes and standards.
• Manages product usage to ensure quality.
• Supervises staff on food handling, sanitation, labeling, and dating.
• Advises upper management of anticipated problems.
• Assists BOH Manager in menu development, ordering, prep and closing lists.
• Sets example by following safety policies and contributing to a safe environment.
