Job description

Job Title: Line Cook

Role Purpose: The Line Cook is responsible for preparing all food according to recipe requirements, adhering to product sensitivities and plate presentations, and ensuring all food meets Jackmont standards of excellence.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be able to read and speak English.
Qualification Requirements:
  • Must pass standard TSA badging requirements to work in the airport.
  • Ability to prepare recipes according to specifications provided by the Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs., up to 20 times per shift.
  • Frequent bending and stooping.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and safety regulations.
  • Use of hands 99% of the time.
  • Ability to stand and walk most of a 6-8 hour shift.
  • Must be able to hear kitchen expeditor and manager requests amidst loud background noise.

  • Maintain compliance with recipe changes and ensure proper execution to deliver high-quality, consistent products.
  • Communicate ticket times and potential issues with service staff and management.
  • Perform duties effectively and timely, following company policies.
