This job posting is for a position with Boeing, in collaboration with WayUp, seeking ASIC and/or FPGA Design and Verification Engineers at various experience levels.

Position Overview

Join Boeing’s Electronic Products team to develop complex ASICs and FPGAs used in aerospace and defense applications, including satellite programs and commercial aircraft systems. The role involves designing, verifying, and integrating digital ICs/SoCs using industry-standard tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop FPGA/ASIC designs supporting verification and design teams
  2. Implement designs using latest practices from architecture to physical realization
  3. Integrate DSP and third-party IP cores
  4. Perform static timing analysis, linting, CDC, and other checks
  5. Create and verify functional coverage models and test benches using UVM and OOP concepts
  6. Support FPGA prototyping and hardware validation
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
  • Experience with ASIC/FPGA design and verification using SystemVerilog
  • Experience with hardware-based testing of FPGA/ASIC designs
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ or 3+ years of related experience
  • Master’s degree in EE or related field
  • Experience with hardware emulators, verification languages, scripting, and high-speed interfaces
Additional Details

Roles are based in Huntington Beach or El Segundo, CA, with opportunities for relocation. The position requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance. Salary ranges vary by experience level, and Boeing offers comprehensive benefits.
