YMCA of Central Maryland is seeking a BodyPump Group Exercise Instructor to deliver high-quality, engaging group fitness classes, promote safety, and create a welcoming environment for members and guests at the Y center.

Under supervision of the Fitness Director, you will teach Les Mills BODYPUMP and related formats, maintain certifications, foster inclusive participation, and support wellbeing by modeling the YMCA core values.

Qualifications

• Maintain and obtain group exercise certification and ongoing training.
• Promote wellness concepts and model safety in all classes.
• Coach and encourage members to meet wellness goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, engaging BodyPump group exercise classes.
• Provide a safe, welcoming environment and promote group interaction.
• Prepare space, manage class size, and communicate with supervisor.
• Maintain equipment, adhere to policies, and participate in meetings.
