Job Description

The Auto Body Technician’s primary responsibility is to provide an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and quality repair of vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition. The role involves disassembling, repairing, and reassembling vehicles, aligning with company goals of speed, quality, and customer satisfaction. The technician works collaboratively with team members to achieve KPIs and represents the brand professionally.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
  2. Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates using various tools.
  3. Hammers out dents, applies fillers, and repairs minor body damage.
  4. Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
  5. Replace damaged sections and glass, and repair interior parts.
  6. Weld, attach, and fit parts; prepare and paint vehicles as per specifications.
  7. Complete work within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles post-repair.
  8. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
  • Ability to read work orders and operate with minimal supervision.
  • Teamwork skills and understanding of vehicle repair methods and tools.
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to work safely in noisy, odorous environments.
  • Lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Visual inspection skills in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat for repairs and inspections.
