Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical school certification or equivalent with related experience.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills essential for repair assessments.
• ASE certifications highly valued and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Repair damaged body parts and bodies per estimates and manufacturer/dealership standards.
• Check body parts against the estimate and ensure parts are ordered and received.
• Maintain tools and safety equipment in proper working condition and follow safety protocols.
• Comply with all regulations including OSHA and hazardous materials handling.
• Follow company standards and engage positively with guests and associates.

Job Summary:Repair damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards. Check body parts against the estimate and ensure proper parts are ordered and received. Must advise management of any deviations from the estimate.Tools and Equipment – Must maintain in proper state of repair and advise management of any needed repairs.Safety – Must wear all safety and health personal protective equipment as mandated and operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.Compliance – Must company with all federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal.
