Job summary

OpenRoad Collision is seeking a motivated Body Technician to join our team in Mesa, AZ. You will perform quality repairs, align frames, and complete cosmetic work while adhering to manufacturer standards and safety protocols.

We value detail-oriented, team players with at least one year of collision repair experience. I-CAR and OEM certifications are preferred. A valid drivers license is required to operate vehicles as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of collision repair experience.
• I-CAR Certification in body repair and welding preferred.
• OEM certification and knowledge of manufacturer repair processes highly valued.
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret repair data and measurements.
• Must have a valid drivers license and be able to operate vehicles legally.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality vehicle repairs per repair orders and standards.
• Communicate repair progress with team members.
• Complete welding, frame/unibody alignment, panel repairs, and cosmetic work.
• Operate frame machines and shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE.
• Conduct QC inspections on completion of work.
• Mix chemicals per manufacturer specifications.
• Adapt to blueprint-style production as needed.

Position Overview:

As part of the Open Road Collision group DBA Allard Collision, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality collision repair services with exceptional customer care. Our team is dedicated to restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while making the repair process as smooth and stress-free as possible for our customers. We're currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Body Technician.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality vehicle repairs as outlined on repair orders in line with manufacturer and industry standards
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair progress and requirements
• Complete welding, frame/unibody alignment, body panel repairs, and cosmetic work
• Operate frame machines and other shop equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Conduct Quality Control (QC) inspections upon completion of work
• Mix chemicals and materials per manufacturer specifications
• Adapt to a blueprint-style production model—may not disassemble vehicles personally
