Job summary

Lou Fusz Automotive Network in Missouri is seeking a Body Shop Technician to join our team. You will work in a temperature-controlled shop, performing welding, frame and body repairs, and related drivetrain tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate has ASE certifications and a willingness to learn, with a valid driver’s license. We offer comprehensive medical benefits, retirement plans, and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications required.
• Damage Analysis and Estimating Certification for Collision Repair.
• Mechanical and Electrical Components Certification for Collision Repair.
• Non-Structural Analysis and Damage Repair Certification for Collision Repair.
• State Vehicle Inspector Certification.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Welding, suspension, framework experience a plus or must be willing to learn/train.
• Identify and determine parts required for repair; review repair orders, work orders, and Body Shop Manager's estimate notes; follow warranty guidelines; notify Supervisor of any repair add-ons.
• Adjust, replace, and repair all series of truck and trailer equipment (e.g., sheet metal repairs, fiberglass/panel repairs, fabrication and structural welding, installation and alignment of truck cab body components, electrical and mechanical repairs).
• Road test vehicles when necessary.
• Maintain current knowledge of job and technical skills and truck manufacturer’s repair process.
