Job summary

Lou Fusz Automotive Network, Inc is hiring a Body Shop Technician to join our team in Missouri. The role involves welding, suspension and frame repairs, and the willingness to learn and train in our shop processes.

Responsibilities include identifying parts, reviewing orders, following warranty guidelines, and performing a broad range of repairs on trucks and trailers, including sheet metal and cab body components. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• ASE Certifications required or equivalent credentials.
• Damage Analysis and Estimating Certification for Collision Repair is preferred.
• Mechanical and Electrical Components Certification for Collision Repair is preferred.
• Non-Structural Analysis and Damage Repair Certification for Collision Repair is preferred.
• State Vehicle Inspector Certification preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Welding, suspension, and framework work; or willingness to learn and train.
• Identify and determine parts required for repair and review orders; follow warranty guidelines.
• Adjust, replace, and repair truck and trailer components including sheet metal and panels.
• Road test vehicles when necessary and maintain knowledge of repair processes.

Responsibilities

• Welding, suspension, framework experience a plus! OR must be willing to learn/train**
• Identify and determine parts required for repair; review repair orders, work order, and Body Shop Managers estimate notes; follow warranty guidelines; notify Supervisor of any repair add-ons.
• Adjust, replace, and repair all series of truck and trailer equipment (e.g., sheet metal repairs, fiberglass/ panel repairs, fabrication and structural welding, installation and alignment of truck cab body components, electrical and mechanical repairs, etc.).
• Road test vehicles when necessary.
• Maintain current knowledge of job and technical skills and truck manufacturer’s repair process.
