Job summary

A family-owned automotive business is seeking a skilled body technician for its Souderton location. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of body work experience and be able to perform tasks such as examining vehicles, removing damages, and ensuring high-quality service. A high school diploma or GED is required. Qualifications

• Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Heavy truck and box work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to identify repairs needed.
• Perform work with efficiency and accuracy as per repair order.
• Remove or repair dents and damages to vehicle exteriors.
• Work with other departments to ensure timely delivery.

• Remove or repair dents, dings and other larger damages to the exterior of a vehicle
• Perform work as outlined in the repair order with efficiency and accuracy
• Work with other departments to ensure a quality product and on time delivery

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree)
• Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, and crouch in order to prepare vehicle for paint.
• 5 years of body work experience

Heavy truck and box work preferred

• Must be dependable
• Cut, Weld, Sand, Form and Prep.
• Willingness to learn
• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening
