Job summary

Bergey's Truck Center-Souderton in Souderton, PA is hiring for an auto body technician to inspect, repair, and finish body work on heavy trucks and boxes.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of body repair experience; heavy truck work is preferred. You will cut, weld, file, grind, and prepare surfaces and collaborate across departments to deliver quality vehicles on time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, and crouch in order to prepare vehicle for paint.
• 5 years of body work experience.
• Heavy truck and box work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examining vehicles to identify repairs needed.
• File, grind, weld, fill and sand repaired surfaces as needed.
• Remove or repair dents, dings and other larger damages to the exterior of a vehicle.
• Perform work as outlined in the repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Work with other departments to ensure a quality product and on time delivery.
