Job summary

Faulkner Collision of Philadelphia is seeking an energetic collision technician to join our growing and dynamic team. You will identify parts, repair and assemble vehicle components with emphasis on welding, suspension and frame work, and you will learn and grow in a supportive shop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with welding, suspension and frame repairs; willingness to learn.
• ASE certifications preferred: Damage Analysis and Estimating; Mechanical and Electrical Components; Non-Structural Analysis and Damage Repair; State Vehicle Inspector.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve parts required for repair; review orders; follow warranty guidelines.
• Adjust, replace, and repair all series of equipment including sheet metal repairs, fabrication and structural welding, installation and alignment of body components.
• Teardown and inspect for additional or hidden repairs.

Qualifications

• Welding, suspension, framework experience a plus OR willing to learn/train
• ASE Certifications; Damage Analysis and Estimating, Mechanical and Electrical Components, Non-Structural Analysis and Damage Repair and State Vehicle Inspector (preferred)
• Certifications listed above or equivalent experience and eagerness to improve
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve parts required for repair; review repair orders, work order, and Body Shop Manager’s estimate notes; follow warranty guidelines; notify supervisor of any repair add-ons.
• Adjust, replace, and repair all series of equipment (e.g., sheet metal repairs, fiberglass/ panel repairs, fabrication and structural welding, installation and alignment body components, electrical and mechanical repairs, etc.).
• Teardown and inspect for additional or hidden repairs.
