Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays as needed
Job DescriptionWe are actively looking for an experienced and motivated Body Shop Technician to join our team. This position involves a range of responsibilities including collision repair, paint preparation, panel alignment, and vehicle reassembly. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in auto body repair and be committed to delivering safe, high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
Disassemble and reassemble damaged vehicles for repair
Align panels and components to factory specifications
Prepare parts and vehicles for paint, including sanding and masking
Mix paint to match OEM color codes and apply finishes as needed
Buff and polish painted surfaces to achieve a professional finish
Perform final detailing on completed repairs
Road test vehicles to verify proper repair quality
Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with dealership and OSHA standards
Adhere to all company safety procedures and protocols
Take on additional tasks as assigned by the Body Shop Manager
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
ICAR and/or ASE certifications preferred, not required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in auto body repair
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
Familiarity with industry-standard repair tools and equipment
Able to lift up to 70 pounds and work in a physically active role
