Job summary

Greenbrier Automotive Group in Lewisburg, WV is seeking a skilled Body Technician to restore damaged vehicles to factory standards and safety specifications. You will assess, repair, and refinish body components while following manufacturer guidelines and dealership procedures.

Work in a shop environment with emphasis on quality and safety, using PPE and compliant practices to protect personnel and customers. Strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous body repair or auto collision experience preferred.
• Knowledge of repair techniques, tools, and safety equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Repair vehicles according to estimates and manufacturer specifications.
• Check parts against estimates and ensure proper ordering and receipt.
• Prepare vehicles for body repair work.
• Notify management of additional repairs needed or any issues impacting quality or timelines.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
• Wear and maintain all required PPE, including respirators.
• Comply with all laws and regulations regarding paints, thinners, and other hazardous materials.
• Cooperate with other personnel to repair and prep vehicles efficiently.
• Operate all tools and equipment safely.
• Understand and comply with federal, state, and local body shop regulations, including OSHA and hazardous waste disposal.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

About The Role

The Body Technician repairs vehicle bodies and damaged parts according to manufacturer and dealership standards. This role ensures that vehicles are restored to high-quality condition and are safe for customer use.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair vehicles according to estimates and manufacturer specifications
