Qualifications

  • 5+ years of collision repair experience preferred.
  • Unibody and structural repair training and experience preferred.
  • I-CAR certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs efficiently as per repair orders.
  • Conduct electrical diagnosis and minor mechanical repairs.
  • Ensure repairs meet OEM standards.

Job description

Heavy Duty Truck & Auto Body Technician

The Heavy Duty Truck & Auto Body Technician is responsible for repairs on new Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM), warranty claims, and standard collision repairs. The successful candidate will perform effectively and efficiently, focusing on communication, quality, and organization.

  • Hands-on support and training from expert technicians, with access to a clean, state-of-the-art shop, tools, and technology
  • Shop management and supervision by highly experienced technicians
  • Safe work environment with proper tools, equipment, and safety training
  • Ongoing Mack and Volvo factory product training and development
  • Industry-leading wages, benefits, and hiring bonuses
  • This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, hourly-based

Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs efficiently as per repair orders
  • Remove and repair interior components as needed
  • Conduct electrical diagnosis and minor mechanical repairs
  • Replace body parts and components
  • Perform high-quality body and structural repairs
  • Refinish surfaces as required
  • Ensure repairs meet OEM standards
Requirements:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and understand English

Experience:

  • Unibody and structural repair training and experience preferred
  • I-CAR certification preferred but not required
  • Welding skills with steel
  • 5+ years of collision repair experience preferred

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to stand, climb stairs, and ladders frequently
  • Lift parts weighing up to 70 pounds
  • Effective communication skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
