Job summary

Ray Laethem Buick GMC in Detroit is hiring body shop technicians to join a large collision center with a steady backlog and direct repair relationships with major carriers. You will perform collision repairs to manufacturer standards, repair panels, weld and finish, remove parts, and work with estimators and management to deliver high-quality repairs on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform collision repairs according to manufacturer and industry standards.

• Complete body filler, sanding, grinding, welding, and metal-finishing work.
• Remove and reinstall vehicle parts, trim, and related components.
• Produce safe, high-quality repairs while meeting production timelines.
• Work closely with estimators, painters, parts, and management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Ray Laethem is the largest collision repair facility in Detroit, built on 40+ years of the same families coming back to us. Grosse Pointe, Detroit's east side, and the surrounding communities keep our lot full whether or not the rest of the market is busy. We are the exception in this market, and we're hiring technicians who want to actually turn hours.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform collision repairs according to manufacturer and industry standards
