Job summary

Big Rig Body Shop is seeking an experienced Body Shop Technician to perform high-quality collision, body, and structural repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will own repairs from assessment through completion while maintaining safety and craftsmanship.

This role offers a hands-on, detail-oriented environment with the tools and support needed to deliver consistent, quality results. A valid driver's license is required; CDL is a plus, and the team values accountability, safety, and

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in body repair, collision repair, or refinishing; heavy-duty experience preferred.
  • Experience with painting, body preparation, welding, fiberglass, and/or frame correction.
  • Ability to assess damage and complete repairs with limited supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and personal accountability.
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus but not required.

This position is responsible for performing high-quality collision, body, and structural repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of repairs from assessment through completion while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
