CarGuys Inc. in Grand Rapids area is helping a dealership hire an Automotive Body Shop Manager to lead the body shop and drive performance. The role focuses on budgeting, staff leadership, and ensuring quality repairs while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
• Hires, trains, motivates, and monitors the performance of all body shop employees.
• Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the body shop.
• Monitors progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring proper repair and safety procedures.
• Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks; conducts spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
• Handles customer complaints immediately and according to dealership guidelines.
