Job summary

Jack Demmer Automotive Group is seeking a Body Shop Estimator to assess collision repairs, calculate part costs and labor, and present detailed estimates to customers. The role focuses on accurate estimating and delivering excellent customer service while using CCC One and Mitchell Connect.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of estimating experience, possess a valid driver's license, and can multi-task in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in auto body estimating.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• The ability to multi-task and previous knowledge of estimating.
• Current valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Estimates cost of repairing damaged automobile and truck bodies, on basis of visual inspection of vehicle and familiarity with standard parts, costs, and labor rates.
• Computes cost of replacement parts and labor to restore vehicle to condition specified by customer, using standard labor and parts cost manuals such as CCC One and Mitchell Connect.
• Enters itemized estimate on job order card or estimate form and explains estimate to customer.
• Provides great customer service skills and ability to interact in a professional manner with colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

• Estimates cost of repairing damaged automobile and truck bodies, on basis of visual inspection of vehicle and familiarity with standard parts, costs, and labor rates. Examines damaged vehicle for dents, scratches, broken glass, and other areas requiring repair, replacement, or repainting.
• Computes cost of replacement parts and labor to restore vehicle to condition specified by customer, using standard labor and parts cost manuals such as CCC One and Mitchell Connect.
• Enters itemized estimate on job order card or estimate form and explains estimate to customer.
• Provides great customer service skills and ability to interact in a professional manner with colleagues and customers.
