Job summary

MikeSavoie Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Full-Time Body Shop Estimator to join our Collision Center in Troy, MI. You will inspect vehicles, write estimates with CCC ONE and Mitchell, and coordinate with insurance carriers to secure approvals.

The role emphasizes strong customer service and teamwork in a fast-paced shop environment. This position operates Monday through Friday, with a 5-day work week and no weekends or late nights, in a hands-on, in-person collision center setting.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive collision estimating experience.
• Experience with CCC ONE and Mitchell estimating systems.
• Strong knowledge of collision repair procedures and vehicle construction.
• Experience working with insurance companies and DRP requirements.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple repair orders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and prepare accurate, thorough collision repair estimates
• Write estimates usingCCC ONE and Mitchell estimating systems
• Properly identify and document all visible vehicle damage
• Prepare and process supplements as additional damage is discovered during the repair process
• Communicate effectively with customers throughout the repair process
• Provide customers with timely and accurate status updates
• Work directly with insurance companies and adjusters on estimates, supplements, and repair approvals
• Review insurance estimates and identify necessary repair procedures, operations, and supplements
• Collaborate with technicians, parts personnel, and management to ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain accurate photos, documentation, and repair notes
• EnsureOEM repair procedures and manufacturer requirements are properly identified and followed
• Take ownership of the customer experience from initial estimate through final vehicle delivery
• Maintain customer satisfaction scores at or above company standards
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
