Job summary

Toyota of Scranton is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician who takes pride in accurate, quality repairs and wants to grow with a dealership that values craftsmanship.

You will perform collision repairs, coordinate with estimators, and ensure parts and processes align for timely, safe vehicle returns. A focus on craftsmanship, ongoing learning, and teamwork will help you succeed in a collaborative shop environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on collision repair experience with a focus on quality workmanship.
• Certifications preferred: I-CAR, ASE, or welding-related credentials.
• Experience welding, measuring, frame pulling, and body filler application is highly valued.
• Commitment to proper repair methods, accuracy, and ongoing learning.

Responsibilities

• Perform collision repairs using manufacturer procedures and quality standards.
• Identify damage, required repair operations, and additional needs early in the process.
• Collaborate with estimators and parts staff to develop complete repair plans.
• Carry out disassembly, welding, measuring, frame pulling, and body work within your qualifications.
• Check work quality throughout the repair process and adjust as needed.
• Communicate progress and any obstacles to keep repairs on track.

• Maintain an organized workspace and contribute to a team that shares knowledge and takes ownership.

What you’ll bring

• Relevant certifications preferred, including I-CAR, ASE, manufacturer, or welding certifications.
