Job summary

Dal-Tile, the largest tile and natural stone manufacturer in the United States, is seeking a Body Prep Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will unload and load raw materials, monitor material flow through the body prep process, and perform basic quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, manufacturing experience is a plus, and the ability to read procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unloads raw materials from railcar and transports to storage bins.
• Loads raw materials into hopper.
• Monitors flow of material through ball mill and into spray dryers.
• Performs various tests to ensure body materials are within specifications and documents results.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs Other Related Duties As Required.

Dal‑Tile is currently seeking a Body Prep Operator to join our MFG TEAM! As the Body Prep Operator, we need someone to unload and load raw materials, monitor flow of material and perform quality control checks on product.

Primary Objective

Monitors flow of raw materials through body prep process.

Major Function and Scope

• Unloads raw materials from railcar and transports to storage bins.
• Loads raw materials into hopper.
• Monitors flow of material through ball mill and into spray dryers.
• Performs various tests to ensure body materials are within specifications and documents results.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.

Performs Other Related Duties As Required.

Experience and Knowledge Required
