Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Body Prep Operator for the C Shift (Days) in Sunnyvale, Texas. The role involves unloading and loading raw materials, monitoring material flow, and performing quality checks on products to ensure specifications are met.

The position requires a high school diploma and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will work with a manufacturing team to monitor equipment, follow SOPs, and maintain a safe, clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Unloads raw materials from railcar and transports to storage bins.

• Performs tests to ensure body materials are within specifications and documents results.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Body Prep Operator to join our MFG TEAM! As the Body Prep Operator, we need someone to unload and load raw materials, monitor flow of material and perform quality control checks on product.

Primary Objective

• Monitors flow of raw materials through body prep process.

Major Function and Scope

• Unloads raw materials from railcar and transports to storage bins.
• Loads raw materials into hopper.
• Monitors flow of material through ball mill and into spray dryers.
• Performs various tests to ensure body materials are within specifications and documents results.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required
