Job summary

UVA Health is seeking a fellowship-trained Body Imaging Radiologist to join the Community Division, serving Prince William Hospital, Haymarket Medical Center, Culpeper Hospital, Culpeper Outpatient Imaging Center and Gainesville Outpatient Imaging Center. The role combines community practice with academic resources.

The successful candidate will devote about 90–95% of effort to clinical service and 5–10% to administrative activities, with flexibility as the division evolves.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree; board certified/eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Fellowship training in Body Imaging.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Virginia.
• Strong clinical skills and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Interpret a comprehensive range of Body Imaging studies across major modalities.
• Refine, expand, and improve clinical services in body imaging and related procedures.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and provide consultative expertise.
• Collaborate with referring providers to ensure high-value imaging use.
• Share in the division's clinical schedule and call responsibilities.
