Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Body Domain Feature Systems Engineering within automotive environments.
• Strong understanding of requirements engineering, feature use case development, boundary diagrams, and validation planning.
• Working knowledge of MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) and SysML using MagicDraw or equivalent modeling tools.
• Experience with Python scripting for engineering productivity, data analysis, automation, and validation support.
• Hands-on experience with CANalyzer, DET, and vehicle/system data analysis for troubleshooting and issue triage.
• Strong quality mindset with evidence-based problem-solving and disciplined engineering documentation practices.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across software, hardware, validation, and systems engineering disciplines.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop feature use cases, boundary diagrams, requirements, specifications, FMA work products, MBSE SysML models, and test plans.
• Perform system validation activities for assigned Body domain features, including issue triage, root cause analysis, and solution development.
• Collaborate closely with software, electrical, mechanical hardware, vehicle program, and supplier engineering teams to ensure successful feature delivery.
• Maintain end-to-end traceability from feature scope through requirements, system models, validation artifacts, and issue resolution.
• Support technical reviews by providing clear status updates, risk assessments, dependency tracking, and closure plans.
• Contribute to feature development and validation activities throughout the product lifecycle.

Body Feature Systems Engineer Responsibilities:

• Develop feature use cases, boundary diagrams, requirements, specifications, Failure Mode Avoidance (FMA) work products, MBSE SysML models, and test plans.
• Perform system validation activities for assigned Body domain features, including issue triage, root cause analysis, and solution development.
• Collaborate closely with software, electrical, mechanical hardware, vehicle program, and supplier engineering teams to ensure successful feature delivery.
