Sedgwick in Wisconsin is seeking a Claims Examiner - Bodily Injury to analyze and process auto and commercial transportation claims, review coverage, investigate liability, and evaluate the scope of damages to achieve timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of claims management experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication, PC literate including Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Processes complex auto bodily injury and commercial claims; documents and codes files.
• Responsible for litigation process on litigated claims.
• Coordinates vendor management, including independent adjusters.
• Reports large claims to excess carrier(s).
• Develops action plans to meet state contact deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies subrogation and risk transfer opportunities; secures salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker.
• Supports the organization's quality programs.
