GAINSCO Auto Insurance is hiring a Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster for the Claims department. The role involves investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving auto claims with adherence to state regulations and internal standards.

The ideal candidate builds strong customer relationships while handling cases from start to finish. The position requires 2+ years in auto claims, along with license eligibility in Texas or Florida and the ability to handle bodily injury claims.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of auto insurance claims experience.
• Two years interpreting policy language and state statutes.
• Two years handling minor to moderately complex claims.
• One or more years handling bodily injury claims.
• Knowledge of ImageRight and Claims Manager preferred.
• Strong track record of making sound coverage and liability decisions.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve auto claims.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies.
• Assigns field appraisers and conducts telephone/electronic investigations.
• Handle non-attorney represented injury claims.
• Evaluate property damage and bodily injury to determine coverage and liability.
• Gather and analyze documents such as police reports and repair estimates.
• Negotiate and settle bodily injury and liability claims.
• Maintain high volume claims handling with time management.
