Calvary Chapel invites applications for a full-time Cafe Manager at our Boca campus. You will lead daily cafe operations, ensure excellent service, and supervise volunteers while maintaining high standards of sanitation and cost control.

You will collaborate with ministry teams and uphold our mission to serve the church and community through quality hospitality and spirit-led leadership.

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of God’s Word and ability to apply it in daily ministry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with staff and church body.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced cafe environment.

You will:

• Manage daily operations for the Cafe at the Boca campus
• Delivers superior service and maximizes customer satisfaction
• Responds efficiently and accurately to customer needs
• Regularly reviews product quality and researches new vendors
• Organizes and supervises volunteers
• Estimates future needs for goods and cafe management
• Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
• Manages the cafe’s good image and suggests ways to improve it
• Controls operational costs and identifies measures to cut waste
• Implements policies and protocols that will maintain future cofe operations
• Completes deposits and coin request forms for accounting to pick up, along with any supplies needed from accounting
• Adheres to food quality and temperatures
• Ensures equipment is functioning properly and heating/cooling properly
• Ensures dining room, condiment stations, prep areas and serving line are thoroughly cleaned each day
• Coordinates with the Grill for matters related to cafe management

You have:

• In depth understanding of God’s Word
• A vision and desire to incorporate discipleship all aspects of the cafe
• A commitment to fulfill the Great Commission and make disciples of all nations
• Excellent interpersonal skills for relating effectively with staff members, leadership, church body
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task work projects
• Ability to work and travel in a cross-cultural environment
• Ability to mobilize, encourage and lead teams in ministry
• Experience working with people of every age and culture
• The ability to manage projects, organize, prioritize, and multi-task

What you are required to know:

You may have to bend, sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, lift, pull, push and/or move up to 45 lbs.

This is a full-time (40+ hours/week) salary exempt position

You may have to work evenings and/or weekends to assist with special events or emergencies

As an employee of and an associate minister of the Gospel, Calvary Chapel expects all employees to:

Participate and lead regular times of prayer, devotion and worship as a regular aspect of your role on staff

Teach from the Bible in the appropriate environments inclusive of staff meetings, conferences, camps and/or outreach events

Work Schedule:

Staff culture is important to what we do. To love like family, we require all staff to attend all staff meetings, department meetings and serve with a willing heart especially at all major campus events. Full time (40+ hours/week)
