Job summary

American Welding & Gas – Silvertip Propane Division has an immediate Propane Bobtail Delivery opening in Roundup, MT. The role involves delivering propane to residential and commercial customers, installing propane tanks, and performing service work from a local route.

The ideal candidate holds a CDL Class B with Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brakes, plus a clean driving record. Experience is a plus, and DOT pre-employment screening is required. Safety and proper paperwork are essential.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B license with Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brakes.
• DOT pre-employment drug screen and physical completed.
• Experience preferred, not required.
• Delivery experience a plus.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Clean driving record (3+ years).
• Able to lift 75–100 pounds.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers.

Responsibilities

• Provide propane delivery service to residential and commercial customers on local route using a bobtail truck.
• Install residential and commercial propane tanks (above ground and below ground).
• Perform propane related service work.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Read, understand, and follow SOPs.
• Ensure vehicles are placarded and labeled.
• Comply with DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain electronic trip-logs and paperwork accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Delivery Driver – Propane Bobtail

• Provide propane delivery service to residential and commercial customers using a bobtail truck on local route
• Install residential/commercial above ground and below ground propane tanks
• Perform propane related service work
• Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly working environment
• Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• Ensures vehicles are appropriately placarded and/or labeled
• Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain electronic trip-logs
• Ensures appropriate preparation/completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets
• Other duties as assigned
