Job summary

DOUBLE H PACKAGING INC is seeking personnel to support packaging operations in a fast-paced environment. You will load/unload skids, manage waste streams, and assist with changeovers while maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Responsibilities include labeling/scanning, following the I.q.M.S. schedule, and keeping operations running smoothly with attention to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of paper handling required.
• Knowledge of inventory control required.

• Load and unload skids into the delivery station of the Bobst.
• Manage all waste streams from the Bobst.
• Move finished goods skids to the next staging area and scan.
• Label and scan skids or product to be converted to the staging area.
• Clean and maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Assist the operator with change overs or moving to another work station.
• Maintain a running machine while the operator steps away.

Position Purpose:

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow and adhere to the I.q.M.S. schedule
• Load and unload skids into the delivery station of the Bobst
• Manage all waste streams coming from the Bobst
• Move finished goods skids to next staging area and scan
• Label and scan skids or product to be converted to the staging area
• Clean and maintain a safe and organized work area
• All other assigned duties
• Assist the operator with change over’s or moving to a different work station
• Maintain a running machine, while the operator steps away

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience Required:

• Must have knowledge of paper handling
• Must have knowledge of inventory control

Skills/Abilities

• Ability to follow step by step instructions
• Ability to move heavy objects up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Must be efficient in multi tasking.

Quality Standards: Must be able to understand quality standards and perform quality checks.

Safety:Tomaintain proper safety standards according to established Sanitary and Housekeeping Practices (GMP Compliance) Proper use of all safety equipment i.e.: proper use of personal protective gear including hairnets, gloves and safety glasses.
