Oliver Inc. on Long Island, NY, seeks an experienced Folding-Gluer Operator for the 2nd shift. You will set up, operate, and monitor the folding-gluer line to deliver high-quality cartons efficiently.

Read job tickets, track materials, and perform preventive maintenance to keep uptime high. Ideal candidates have folding-gluer experience, familiarity with Bobst equipment, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate folding-gluer line while maintaining quality.

• Monitor run, adjust settings to correct variances and ensure carton integrity.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs; complete post-run cleanup.
• Read tickets, track materials, and keep accurate inventory.

You’ll be the go-to expert turning specifications into production-ready settings and delivering consistent, high-quality results.How You’ll Do ItConfigure key stations: feeder, glue system, plow/fold plates, compression, pack station, and quality inspection systems. Optimize for fold sequence, glue placement, paperboard thickness, and score alignment. Deploy automated, computer-driven inspection to verify quality at speed. Continuously watch the run, correcting variances to protect accuracy and carton integrity. Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs to keep uptime high. Read job tickets, confirm schedules, track materials, and maintain precise inventory counts. Finish strong: complete post-run cleanup and maintain a safe, organized work cell.
