Job summary

Atlas Bobcat, part of the Atlas Companies, is seeking full-time Service Technicians to diagnose, repair, and service Bobcat compact equipment in the Chicagoland area. You should enjoy hands-on mechanical work and solving problems to help customers keep their machines running.

Qualifications

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues on Bobcat equipment using diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections according to manufacturer specs and company standards.
• Complete service repairs in a timely manner and test equipment after service.

What Youll Do Day-to-Day:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues on Bobcat compact construction equipment using manufacturer diagnostic software and tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Complete service repair assignments in timely manner.
• Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation and performance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products sold and serviced by Atlas Bobcat.
• Keep the Service Lead informed of current and potential issues related to service repairs, parts requirements, and customer concerns.
• Maintain an inventory of necessary and customary technician tools in good working condition.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all company and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
