Job summary

Lehigh Hanson Inc. seeks a licensed US Coast Guard Master of Towing Vessels to oversee operations on the waterway for extended deployments. You will verify vessel suitability and supervise crew to ensure safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

Job Requirements

What You'll Be Doing

Verify Vessel and Crew are suitable for the intended routes.

Ensure navigational assessments are completed prior to getting underway and updated as needed throughout each trip.

Ensure required inspection, reports, drills, logbook entries and items required by the Towing Vessel Record are completed as necessary.

Supervise crew to ensure safe and efficient work practices are being followed. Follow Safety Policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment. Maintain an awareness of environmental standards. Take corrective action to address minor problems or report compliance issues to the appropriate supervisor for resolution.
