Haig Point Ferry Company is seeking an Entry-Level Professional Mariner to start a maritime career on Hilton Head Island. This full-time position offers hands-on experience within a private, residential community, serving members and guests with a focus on safety and service.

Ideal candidates bring a positive attitude and basic seamanship, with training provided for emergency response and SOP adherence. TWIC eligibility is required to join our crew and grow within the maritime industry.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure passenger and vessel safety at all times

  • Assist with vessel operations, cargo loading, and unloading
  • Maintain vessel cleanliness and uphold safety protocols
  • Keep accurate logs and assist the Captain with daily operations
  • Perform engine room checks and light maintenance
