Job summary

Brunswick Boat Group in Minnesota is seeking a dedicated Load/Ship Associate to prepare boats for shipment and secure them for transport. You will operate forklifts, move boats to loading areas, and load items onto trailers while following safety guidelines and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Three months' experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Previous forklift operation required.
• Ability to read and understand production schedule.
• Computer skills preferred.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced, noisy environment while wearing PPE.
• Possess a positive work attitude, willingness to learn all departmental job functions, and adhere to safety and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Load finished boats for shipment from the plant.
• Move boats and equipment to load area and load items on trailers or containers.
• Secures boats and equipment for transport.
• Cutting wooden rigging elements.
• Workload will be tracked via daily schedules and assignments requiring responsibility and accountability for quality and timeliness of completion.
• Ability to perform job functions safely and effectively in a fast-paced, noisy environment while wearing all required PPE.
