Job summary

Brunswick Corporation is seeking assemblers to install boat components in a large manufacturing facility. You will read drawings, use pneumatic drills and drivers, and install fuel lines, harnesses, and steering systems for Lund and Crestliner brands.

Candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills, and be safety-conscious with a team-oriented mindset. Benefits include medical, 401(k), paid time off, and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three months experience in a manufacturing setting preferred, but willing to train.
• Knowledge of drills, drivers, rivet guns, saws, sanders, and hammers.
• Ability in basic math, reading and read a tape measure.
• Ability to follow established safety process to handle equipment to install all components for boats.
• Detail oriented, organized; good safety awareness, attitude and attendance.
• Computer skills preferred; knowledge of 5S, Kaizen and LSS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings and specifications to install boat components.
• Operate pneumatic drills and drivers for bow platform, livewell, seats, fuel lines and wiring harnesses.
• Move and secure fuel tanks and install lines, cables and steering components.
• Install console, windshield, controls and related wiring harnesses.
• Ensure proper cleanup and prepare boats for next department.
• Maintain safety and quality and complete required production documentation.
