Job description

Calypso, Malolo and Quicksilver Charters seek a deckhand with snorkel tour experience to crew on large company passenger catamarans operating from Maalaea harbor.

Vessels run snorkel trips from Maalaea Harbor to Molokini and nearshore snorkel spots. We also run dinner cruises, whale watch, and other charters 365 days per year. Our immediate need is snorkel crew on Fridays, plus Sat or Sun availablility, and one additional day per week. Snorkel shifts generally run from 5:00am – 3:00pm.

You must be excellent in customer service, safety conscious, possess a healthy dose of common sense, a team player, be able to work on your feet for long periods of time. Must be seaworthy as conditions can be rough.

Snorkel trip crew must be excellent ocean swimmer, must be comfortable lifeguarding passengers in the water, able to free dive 20 feet with snorkel gear. Must know how to clear your ears.

Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests throughout employment.

Medical marijuana or CBD products with TCH are NOT acceptable.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must speak, write and read English proficiently.

Able to follow instructions, perform duties aboard Company vessels operating in harbors and nearshore and open ocean waters, in hot and humid conditions in the sun; Twisting, crouching and bending; Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Competitive pay rates. Full time or part-time opportunities available.

$30+ per hour compensation = $20 hourly wage (after approx. 30-60 day training period at $18), plus tips and commissions.

Paid vacation (min. 24 hours/week required); paid health benefits (min. 20 hours/week required). 401K Plan all positions. Waiting periods apply.

We pay time and 1/2 overtime.

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
