Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Macon, GA is seeking a Detailer to clean, wax and prepare new and pre-owned boats, motors, trailers and ATVs for customers. You will unload, transport and stage units around the dealership using a forklift or tractor and verify packing lists for deliveries.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and readiness to work outdoors in all weather. A DOT physical may be required; full-time benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• DOT physical may be required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Washes, cleans, waxes, vacuums, etc. interiors and exteriors of boats for scheduled customer pickups, display and service customer units.
• Using a fork lift or tractor, unloads incoming boats, motors, trailers and ATVs and transports them within the dealership.
• Confirms packing list or invoice of all boat loads or other product deliveries.
• Transports and stages customer boats and ATVs to service, rigging and storage yard.
• Informs Service Manager or Service Lead of any unit concerns or required repairs.
• Maintains an updated list of cleaning supplies and informs managers of needed items.
• Keeps work area neat and clean.
• All other duties as assigned.
