Job summary

CUMULUS MEDIA Buffalo is seeking a Part-Time Associate Producer/Technical Operator to provide programming and control room support in a fast-paced environment. The role demands reliability, flexibility, and a positive demeanor, with most hours in evenings, weekends, and holidays.

You will operate the console, play commercials as scheduled, monitor weather, traffic and news, and oversee EAS alerts while maintaining logs and quality control from master control.

Qualifications

• Previous control console operation experience preferred.
• Audio production skills preferred.
• Ability to learn FCC rules and EAS guidelines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and audio editing tools.
• Familiar with audio mixers.
• Scheduling flexibility; evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Running the console in a radio station control room broadcasting a variety of live or pre-recorded local and syndicated entertainment programs
• Playing all commercials as scheduled and maintaining a commercial and transmitter log
• Monitors and updates weather, traffic, and news reports
• Monitor for EAS Alerts, Ambers Alerts and breaking news
• Monitors the technical quality and accuracy of incoming and outgoing on-air programming from master control room

Pay Range

USD $16.00 - USD $16.00 /Hr.
