Job summary
Programmrs.io is seeking a hands-on BLT Technician to support data center systems in a manufacturing/testing setting. You will work with data center hardware installation, testing, and troubleshooting, leveraging Linux, Windows, and scripting to diagnose issues.
The role requires familiarity with hardware triage, PCIe/I2C/SPI basics, IPMI/Redfish standards, and experience using oscilloscopes and test equipment. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.
Qualifications

- Proficient with Linux and Windows, plus shell and Python scripting.
- Experience with servers, PCs, and hardware triage.
- Familiar with PCIe, IPMI and Redfish, and basic debugging.
- Able to document work clearly and communicate effectively.

Job description
We are seeking a hands-on BLT Technician with experience supporting data center systems. Experience working in a factory environment manufacturing or testing data center products is strongly preferred.
- Data center hardware installation, testing, and troubleshooting experience
- Proficiency with Linux, Windows, and basic Shell and Python scripting
- Experience with servers, PCs, and hardware triage
- Hardware board bring-up and basic debugging skills
- Basic knowledge of PCIe, USB, I2C, and SPI
- Understanding of network protocols and hardware management standards, specifically, IPMI and Redfish
- Experience using oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other test equipment
- Experience installing firmware and operating systems
- Good communication and documentation skills
