Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a hands-on BLT Technician to support data center systems in a Dallas, TX environment. The role involves hardware installation, testing, and troubleshooting of data center products, with emphasis on hardware bring-up and diagnostics.

Candidates should be proficient with Linux and Windows, have basic Shell and Python scripting, and possess strong documentation and communication skills. This is a hands-on, on-site position requiring hardware lab work and test equipment usage.

• Experience with servers, PCs, and hardware triage.
• Ability to bring up hardware boards and perform basic debugging.
• Knowledge of PCIe, USB, I2C, and SPI.
• Understanding IPMI and Redfish hardware management standards.
• Experience using oscilloscopes and power supplies.
• Experience installing firmware and operating systems.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

We are seeking a hands-on BLT Technician with experience supporting data center systems. Experience working in a factory environment manufacturing or testing data center products is strongly preferred.

Key Requirements:

• Data center hardware installation, testing, and troubleshooting experience
• Proficiency with Linux, Windows, and basic Shell and Python scripting
• Experience with servers, PCs, and hardware triage
• Hardware board bring-up and basic debugging skills
• Basic knowledge of PCIe, USB, I2C, and SPI
• Understanding of network protocols and hardware management standards, specifically, IPMI and Redfish
• Experience using oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other test equipment
• Experience installing firmware and operating systems
• Good communication and documentation skills
