Job summary

ForMotion Clinic seeks a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist to join our on-site team. You will evaluate patients, take hand casts or scans, and fabricate and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices, collaborating with physicians and therapists to deliver optimum outcomes.

Our clinic hosts a fully equipped fabrication facility and operates as part of a global network delivering advanced mobility solutions. A Master’s in Prosthetics & Orthotics and ABP&O certification are required, with 3–5 years of

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist by the American Board for Certification in Prosthetics & Orthotics.
• Master’s Degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics from an accredited university.
• 3–5 years of experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Patient evaluations
• Detailed notation in Nymbl
• Hand casting/Scanning all amputation levels and for custom Prosthetic & Orthotic devices
• Modifications, Diagnostic fittings, delivery, and follow up visiting hospital for evaluation and delivery of post-op devices
• Providing support at the hospital for the staff orthotists as needed
• Performing Prosthetic/Orthotic marketing activities which may include visiting referral sources, hospitals, clinics, and speaking with physicians and providing in-services
• Interact with physicians and therapists about the patient’s needs and formulation of treatment plans
• Patient and family education
• Other duties as assigned

Job Description

We are seeking to hire an on-site (full-time) Certified Prosthetist Orthotist for an incredible opportunity to grow and expand your career in our clinic. This clinic has a talented team that focuses on the highest level of patient care. In this role, the candidate will work alongside other practitioners in creating quality prosthetic and orthotic devices. A systematic approach will be used to transition the candidate through various competencies with increasing levels of amputations and other responsibilities. We have an onsite fully operational fabrication facility.
