Job summary

Rarebreed Veterinary Partners is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Surgical Centers surgeon in the Washington, DC area. The role focuses on orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, collaboration with specialists, and continuous learning in a state-of-the-art environment.

Eligible candidates include ACVS board-certified surgeons or Board-Eligible candidates with a passion for teaching and advancing small animal surgery.

Qualifications

• ACVS board-certified surgeon; board-eligible considered.
• Excellent communication and client-service skills.
• Willingness to mentor and teach others; eager to learn.
• Ability to work 4 days/week with 2-3 Saturdays per month.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats).
• Perform surgical or medical treatments and collaborate with referring veterinarians.
• Engage in ongoing education, seminars, and training.
