Job summary

Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center in Allentown, PA is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon who is board-certified or residency-trained to join a growing specialty and emergency hospital. You will be part of an experienced team, collaborating on complex cases and sharing case management to ensure high-quality patient care.

This is not a solo role; you will work with a team of surgeons and other specialists in a well-equipped facility offering advanced diagnostics and 6 surgical suites.

Qualifications

• DVM degree required or equivalent
• Board certification or eligibility for PA license
• Strong surgical and clinical judgment
• Team-oriented mindset and collaborative approach

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced soft tissue and/or orthopedic surgical procedures
• Deliver exceptional patient care with a focus on optimal outcomes and client communication
• Collaborate closely with specialty and emergency colleagues in a team-based environment
• Utilize modern surgical suites, advanced diagnostics, and well-trained technical support
• Build and maintain strong relationships with referring veterinarians
