Job summary

Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center in Fort Worth seeks board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Surgeon to join an established team and provide advanced surgical care for a diverse small animal caseload.

You will work with two experienced surgeons at your home hospital and have access to a network of 13 DVSC surgeons across the DFW metroplex, with CT and fluoroscopy resources and collaboration with Emergency and Internal Medicine.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree and eligibility for state licensure.
• Board Certification in Surgery or residency training in Surgery.
• Strong surgical skills and commitment to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced surgical care across a diverse small animal caseload.
• Perform soft tissue and orthopedic procedures based on clinical interests.
• Collaborate with experienced surgeons across DVSC’s DFW network.
• Work closely with Emergency, Internal Medicine, and referring veterinarians to develop treatment plans.
• Utilize advanced imaging and surgical resources, including CT and fluoroscopy.
• Build and maintain relationships with referring veterinarians throughout North Texas.
• Participate in case consultation, mentorship, and continuing education.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration.
