Job summary

The Vet Service is seeking a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join an advanced referral and emergency environment providing complex surgical care. You will work alongside surgeons, internists, cardiology and emergency teams using CT with fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and endoscopy.

A flexible schedule of about three shifts per week includes some overnight and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD from an accredited veterinary institution.
• One-year rotational internship in small animal medicine, surgery and emergency care.
• AVMA-approved three-year surgical residency.
• Board certification preferred; residency-trained candidates also considered.
• Current state veterinary licence with ability to obtain and maintain DEA registration.
