Qualifications

• Board-certified or residency-trained in Small Animal Internal Medicine.
• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree; licensed or eligible to practise in Kentucky.
• Strong clinical judgement and collaborative approach to complex case management.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage complex small animal internal medicine cases.
• Conduct comprehensive consultations and develop individualised treatment plans.
• Perform and interpret advanced diagnostic investigations; utilise ultrasound and imaging.
• Perform endoscopic and minimally invasive diagnostic procedures as required.
• Manage patients with acute, chronic, multisystem disease.
• Collaborate with other veterinarians on complex and referred cases.
• Communicate diagnoses, prognoses and treatment with clients and referring vets.
• Maintain detailed medical records.
• Support clinical development of colleagues and technical team members.
• Participate in continuing education and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and client service.
