Qualifications

• Ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with clients.
• Display confidence and reassurance when dealing with distressed pets.
• Position requires physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Communicate and educate clients on treatment options.
• Maintain accurate medical records and pharmacy duties.

Skills

Strong diagnostic and clinical skills

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

Education

Veterinarian degree (DVM or VMD) from an accredited college or university

1-year rotational internship in small animal medicine, surgery, ER

Completed a 3-year, AVMA approved residency program
