The candidate will provide high-quality veterinary care, build client relationships, and support hospital leadership in delivering 24/7 specialty services across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD from an accredited college.
• 1-year rotating internship in small animal medicine, surgery, ER.
• Completed a 3-year AVMA approved residency.
• Current State Veterinary License.
• DEA registration must be obtained.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Excellent communication with staff and clients.
• Commitment to compassionate, high‑quality veterinary care.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Client communication and education.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Pharmacy duties and controlled substance protocols.
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
• Coordinate with Hospital Manager on weekly priorities.
• Monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge.
• Attend daily rounds when possible to uphold standards.
• Participate in practice management updates and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
